Hey guys, I tried searching some proxy basics, but came up empty handed. I have never used a proxy before, but have become recently interested because I started torrenting again. I use peerblock, but the more anonymity the better, right? Problem is, I have no idea what I need or where to get it. I see a lot of people asking how "X" works on FB or CL, etc....I am not concerned with that. I am just hoping there is a simple program available to get me safe(r) while torrenting. I'm not sure if there are any free programs or if you have to pay.....I really don't know anything yet lol.
Another question....while I was reading up on these forums I stumbled across someone asking the question about how do you know what the last person was doing with that IP....which got me wondering if I'll be using an IP that was being used for sketchier activity than what I want to use it for.
I don't mind doing my own research on the topic, but can you guys point me in the direction I need to start learning about this stuff?
