Proxy and Android Emulator

Does anybody know how is the right way to send Instagram app through proxy in Android Emulator? I'm using Memu Emulator because it's easy to clone and deploy multiple instances. The basic method of using android proxy settings can be easily bypassed by IG. I've tried setting 'http_proxy' myself using adb shell and it does change the IP but how can I make sure IG doesn't bypass this? I would use proxydroid but it doesnt work on Memu.

I am not sure if this will work for you but i have been using bluestacks with "proxifier", and it does the job neatly.

I'm having the same issue, "proxifier" doesn't come up in play store by the way

I've tried proxydroid but it seems like dns will not resolve with socks proxy

I think you don't need 3rd party app. Memu> Wi-Fi settings > add there your proxy.
If you wanna check: whoishostingthis com/tools/user-agent/

Question of op was about android emulator not android device. Proxifier is a desktop app for windows and mac os.

I thought about this but I'm afraid Instagram App will just bypass these settings, but for me currently Proxifier solved the issue, just add memu*.exe to the proxy rule and it works fine.

Any way to confirm whether Memu and Proxifier are completely set up correctly? I have Memu running through proxifier but if i visit a website to check my IP, it'll still show my real IP for some reason.

Just use proxycap and add all the .exe files related to the emulator to be sent through your proxy

i use proxycap with all the .exe files related to the emulator but i does not seem to work?
