I keep wondering this... If I am using public proxies, which can potentially expose my IP...

Can I set an elite anon private proxy as my system proxy?

Therefore using the public proxies behind a private proxy?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Yep sure.
You can use as many proxies you want and make a Proxy chain.
Go with Proxifier.
