Proxies with Youtube?

I already know that proxies are really important for creating and uploading but I had another question. Is there any reason that people would need proxies to either scrape or view videos? I have about 20k proxies that'd be perfect for both of those, but they're not going to work to login or upload any videos. Was just wondering if there's any value for proxies to scrape anything off of youtube or if you even needed them to scrape. You can watch videos on them too so in theory if something is blocked out by your country I guess you'd be able to view it on the right proxy. Anyway I'm just curious if you even need proxies to scrape stuff from Youtube or if anyone even bothers to do such. Thanks and have a a great day everyone.

If you're wondering whether you can generate views with proxies, then you're gonna have a pretty bad time... As a general rule of thumb proxies don't give views, but on the off chance that you have a really big elite/maybe semi-private proxy list then you can probably get some views! :)
 
Well to be honest I don't even do anything with Youtube so I wasn't really even thinking about anything specific just yet. I've had them forever and just realized that they worked on Youtube for some things. I did think about increasing views, because of the quantity that I have, but I'd have to have someone test it or something to really see. I would think they'd count though since the proxies work fine on Youtube. They just won't work on the login page so that takes out commenting and liking. That's why I was asking if anyone scraped Youtube for anything, and if so, were proxies even needed because they would work great for that.

Getting views with proxies isn't a good idea. You could buy them. As for scraping videos, I don't think it would require proxies at all, other than a good bot, but its safe if you do use proxies.
 
depends on the variety - are we talking full C blocks, or?
 
I was never interested in view increasing really. I was more thinking they'd be good for scraping. After some though though I believe they'd not only work for view increasing but I'm almost sure of it. There are some full c-blocks, however, I have around 25,000 currently spread across 30 or so entire different ranges. There's probalby 100 or 200 different c-blocks.

Is there a difference , from which region to upload a video to youtube? if my adds will be for US? i mean , do i need to buy a us proxy to upload the video ?
 
If you have the right script or software the proxies will work for hr views also :) You just need to generate the right http requests. Also you will want your proxies to be elite proxies or private proxies for all the things you do on google/youtube. And yes, I think that if you do a high number of searches very fast, on google or yt, you will want to change the proxy for every search. But I think that is very unlikely that you need to do this kind of searches on yt (unless you offer some kind of service for people with searches for hundred of niches updated every minute)
 
Whats the logic behind increasing youtube views.I was using hma and cycling the ip for every 30 seconds and running a script to open video in new tab but views are not increasing above 300,it has been 4 days till now.how can we do it ?
 
the correct strategy is to use a mix of different methods for views, social media, little bit of boosting, and also proxies. also bumping old threads like this is not really very helpful, there are better threads on bhw to stay upto date with.
