Proxies Returning HTTP 500 Error?

Two days ago I factory reset my router during my attempt to change the mac address for an IP change. It worked, I have a new IP. However my program I am working on that uses proxies has it saying that 90% of the proxies it goes through is returning HTTP 500 error. Before this I never really received 500 internal errors. I imagine it may be with the router not routing it properly now when making a connection to the proxy server? Anyone have any ideas?
