What type of proxy should be used while automating x via browser?
Mobile proxies are too expensive for a web based bot imo

Residential proxies are a good middle ground if mobile is too pricey. They’re less likely to get flagged than datacenter proxies and work well for browser automation. Just make sure the rotation and location fit your use case.

You have no choice it's 4g, residential or ISP proxies. Block unneeded js files on X if bandwidth is expensive

Residential and mobile proxies. If youre tight financially, residential is what you'll need. Mobile proxies are less likely to be flagged tho, but yeah it's more expensive.

You can set up your own mobile proxy to lower costs. They have mobile data plans with unlimited data at lower speeds once you finish the data on the main plan

If you're automating X, you don't always need mobile proxies but they help a lot if you're running multiple accounts, or scraping.

Rotating Residential proxies are the best for anything.

Residential and mobile proxies are best. I’ve seen some people recommend using datacenter proxies for X—never do that

If your main goal is browser-based automation, datacenter proxies are still a valid and often ideal choice if speed, stability, and cost are key priorities. Most of the issues people face with DC proxies come from misconfiguration or using flagged IPs, Are you running short bursts or longer-lived sessions on X? That can make a difference in choosing the right proxy.

The most common is IP source residential proxies ,mobile proxies , and datacenter proxies

For browser-based automation on X, datacenter proxies can work fine if you’re managing low-volume accounts and rotating IPs smartly.
But if you’re scaling, residential proxies are the sweet spot — better trust scores and less chance of flagging, especially with aggressive botting.
Mobile proxies are top-tier but like you said, expensive. Some people mix — cheap DC proxies for scraping, resi/mobile for account actions.
Test small and scale with what sticks.

Hi , the best are residential and mobile proxies it will keep you safe and avoiding problems

If using mobile proxies isn’t a strict requirement, residential proxies or even good data center proxies can work just fine - it really depends on how strict the target site is with traffic checks. Residential proxies are a solid middle ground in terms of price and how “human-like” the traffic appears. Many bots run well with them, especially if you configure rotation and headers properly. Also, don’t overlook geo-location - sometimes even cheap proxies from the right region perform better than mobile ones from a different country.
Another option is to mix it up: run most of the traffic through cheaper proxies, and reserve a couple of mobile ones for sensitive actions if they’re truly necessary.
