Hi there!
I used to always buy proxies, but I recently discovered that I have a lot of Android cell phones and also have the ability to buy very cheap mobile internet. I also have a subscription to Google Cloud, previously I deployed simple applications on virtual machines. I came across a guide on the internet, tried to do the same thing, in VPS quality - Google Cloud Virtual Machine, here's the guide:
You will need some external IP address to connect to. I've used an Ubuntu VPS.
1. Install an OpenVPN server on your VPS. (there are many ready-to-use scripts on GitHub, I've used https://github.com/angristan/openvpn-install). You will get .ovpn file for the client.
2. Install an OpenVPN client on your phone, and use .ovpn config to connect your phone to your VPS.
3. Install a proxy server on your phone (I've used Android Proxy server) and run in (for ex. on port 7777, also you can enable user/pass auth)
4. Now you need to forward traffic from (and back to) your VPS external IP (ex 111.111.111.1) to your phone's internal VPN IP (ex 10.8.0.2). Add these routes to the routing tables on your VPS:

iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -d 111.111.111.1 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 7777 -j DNAT --to-destination 10.8.0.2:8812
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -d 10.8.0.2 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 7777 -j SNAT --to-source 10.8.0.1
5. Use iptables-persistent to make these routes permanent. Ta-daaa! It should work now!
Your phones proxy server is available at address:port 111.111.111.1:7777 Enjoy!
Unfortunately I don't have much knowledge in system administration so setting up the proxy didn't work, after connecting to my proxy it just doesn't work. Has anyone had any trouble setting up their proxies? Any help would be appreciated, also if someone really badly needs my proxies I would consider cooperation

1st thing i noticed is step 3.... best to run default port for openvpn, specifiying ports can create problems
chatgpt can help with routing table if necessary - fix ports and it may not be necessary

be happy to setup a few vpns for you if you would not mind i use one occasionally - no restricted activity just geo-fencing.
