proxies for a newb

i know nothing about proxies. just need something simple

how to use it? can i get one for free or to pay?

I just have an ebay account that recently has seller block on it (since I am not 18 yet). I'd like to use a friends ebay account to sell my items but don't want them to trace IP back to me. I realize i have to delete cookies and need a proxy that accepts cookies (cant use ebay without cookies enabled). How to go about this?

You can use web proxies (search it in Google with "free web proxy") or configure your browser with a free proxy.

You can try googling for something like 'free proxy lists' or 'free daily updated proxies' to find some public proxies worthwhile. If you only need a few proxies per day, that should suit your needs fine.
