What kind of problem can you have with a proxy scrap list?

Hi skygo,
How you are doing well despite the lockdown and really hope you are Staying Safe.
Of late I have developed an interest in port scanning to get personal proxies to use.
In that vein, I have read through most of your posts on the subject - given the fact that apparently you are the boss of that here BHW and also given your close to 2 decades experience.
However, I am still finding it hard to put everything together especially concerning the following statements from you about PORTS to SCAN:

as a retired proxyfire admin, proxyfire allows you to add more than 1 port
when scanning a specific ip range just add multiple ports in the port box like this

happens alot with port 80 u can scan a 1 minute range and get
10k proxies and 1 works, stick to regular ports 8080 / 3128 ect

also i think this section is for proxy lists - not ip ranges.
also a list of ip ranges is of no use to anyone without the port number
to scan your ip ranges

Any clarification on the above issue would be greatly appreciated, especially your recommendation for use with Scrapebox and GSA SER.
