Hello BHW,

Im starting this journey, because im fed up with my parents (and grandma) always telling me I should get a job (I'm 17 and still going to HS btw, senior year is A LOT of work...)
This phrase is what i'm ALWAYS (and tired of) hearing: "You need to get a job to know how the real world is like, stop playing video games already you're 17 already!"

So this Journey is not "I wanna buy a motorcycle/ps4/BMW M5", but more of an open journey. I don't have a specific goal since I don't really need the money right now (kind of humble person) ,
i just want to prove a point (to my parents): You don't have to work a 9-5 (or in my case part time) job to get money

Just as the joker said: "It's not about the money, it's about sending a message" (This quote fits so freakin' perfectly here)

Methods (which I'm gonna be posting some info what I doing, might help you too ;)):
- Blogging -> AdSense
- Authority Site -> AdSense
- Micro Jobs (Fiverr..etc.) for Start-Up money mostly
- CPA/PPD (although I won't be posting any info for that since, as myself, most of you will be sick of reading CPA/PPD threads...)
(- Adult Sites - requires start up money ofc)

Day 1:
Earnings: 0.00$
Investment: 0.00$

P.S. Probarbly going to invest the first few hundered bucks I earn, to make more money (hopefully)

This may be the key element for your success :)

Good luck with your journey!

Well good luck on your journey!

HOWEVER... while I absolutely agree on the "you don't have to work a 9-5..." You really should work in the 9-5 world for a while when your younger! Why? To see why people don't want to work there :) Knowing what you're trying to avoid helps a great deal!

I completely agree with you that it isn't necessary to have a 9to5 job in order to live comfortably. However, your success will solely depend on your eagerness and hard work. There are no shortcuts in IM, and that is something you will see very soon.
Alas, I wish you good luck and I hope you bank hard. Keep it up and you're bound to see the moolah coming in.

-> Best point made here. Can't beat this motivation.

The people who succeed in life are doing and are working at what they love. Figure that out and you're halfway there.

What I did today:
Blogging
Did a sh*t ton of keyword research ('bout 3 hours). Going into Nutrition and Sports niche, Monetization will be via Affiliate and AdS

I think your parents have more wisdom than you're giving them credit for. They've already walked the road you're walking as have I. I wish I could go back and slap the 17 year old I was and tell him to stop playing video games and get a job.

Im going to be 100% honest i didnt read past "dont need a 9-5 job to make money" your crazy man and your perception is all wrong. It dont matter if your doing IM or working for your self in your own business. YOU HAVE TO TREAT IT AS A JOB!!! with that mind set your never going to succeed and will end up working for someone who decided to treat their idea as a 9-5 and are successful. Think about it and you have to change that mindset!

Sorry Mate but I don't think this Journey is going to be successful.
Set some targets, give yourself something to aim for.
Without a Goal or destination in mind, you won't be able to judge whether you have succeeded or failed.

Anyway Good Luck in reaching for ? whatever!

Fiverr isn't too good for start up money, try to find people looking for jobs done such as having content written. You can charge $1 for 100 words, it takes like 10 minutes to research a subject and write 500 words on it.

Dude best of luck for your journey. One thing I would suggest as your elder bro, that please do complete your formal education. I am horrified to see the new trend!

You will prove a point. Your parent's point. I predict a week maximum, of updates.

Just copy this somewhere and open it 10 years from now. Then slap the kid you are now.

Seriously dude.. I wish you all the best. I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I guess the worst part of it is knowing how much potential this stuff has, but not being able to prove it to people, since you're not a big shot (yet! haha).
Stick to your plan or you'll regret it.

This should actually be the foundation of that journey. I know it's hard, since the temptation is really huge, but stick to your studies and keep your journey on the down low. I'm not saying abandon it, but education comes first. You'd regret it, if you didn't graduate.

I think you should really trust your parents' advice. They are a lot wiser than you. This journey is probably going to end within 2 weeks with you giving up. You need to stop playing video games and learn to prioritize. Seeing as how most members here know how this will go, you should go get a job at McDonald's first. This can help you build up startup money for your plan, but more importantly, you will gain self discipline and learn what it means to work. THEN, you can start your journey with IM and succeed.

If I had the opportunity to, I would've started out working at McDonald's. Sadly, child labor rules at strict in the US. Good thing start up money isn't required, but self discipline and a good mindset is.

Your parents just want you to know the value of money. Trust me, my parents and i are the same way to my sister. She's almost going to be 19 and doesn't know the value of money, she expects my parents to pay for everything. Good thing she's going to work for mcdonalds soon. disgonnabegood.jpeg
