Premium theme that's let's say "cracked" so you can download it and use it for free. It works normally and sometimes you can even update that theme and it will work perfect. It depends. Sometimes you will find nulled theme that will not work or it's infected with viruses.

Not hard at all. You need to change NS records to cloudflare records. Register on their site and they will tell you exactly what to do. There won't be any downtime at all.

Wordfence and Sucuri plugins worked for me. One of my sites got attacked twice in a year and I had installed this plugin. I set login attempt to just once with a blocking period of 60 days. Now also, I get lot of attacks and even 150 times a day, but thanks to Sucuri and WordFence, all these attacks are blocked and informed to me through mail.

Do a search for "harden wordpress" or "hardening wordpress" it's the term used for protecting wordpress.
Wordfence and Limit login attempts is all I've used for years, without any issues.
I also do this:
Ensure you have automated backups of your site through cPanel and wordpress (I use UpdraftPlus plugin), And learn how to re-install from backups. UpdraftPlus allows backups to google drive, dropbox, onedrive, FTP and many other options. If you get hacked, you can re-upload yesterdays backup. If you hire a someone to work on your site and they screw it up, reinstall from backup. It's a useful skill to have. Feel free to DM me if you questions.
