i don't trust anyone again so i use my own gun to protect my sites
 
better add WP firewall and secure wp plugins.

I have gotten notices from wp firewall yesterday from two sites blocking sql injections and change your username to something other than admin.


These fuckers won't quit.

wp firewall shows you the ip address of the attacker... But hackers are good at hiding and using proxies.

As far as bulk deleting these exploits, I have not found a way.

I deleted my blogs and rebuilt them and made sure that I added the 404 to start plugin.

I am sure this will have an effect on my sites standings in G.

But if i am making no money and someone else is, time to cut bait and start over.

Holy crap, I didn't even think about security on my blogs. Thanks for the reminder, and thanks for the list of plugins! Gonna install them ASAP.

It's hard enough to make cash... But easier when your pockets aren't being picked.
 
There is a book in the download section that will inform
you of most of the vulnerabilities that we face.

It's a starting point but will also help you protect yourself
against the most common attacks.

I heard that the older wordpress versions like 2008-09 are the ones that are really easy to hack.
 
Well that is not true they are and have hacked newer versions.

So better to be safe. I have been getting the ip's and denying the whole ip range via my htaccess file.
 
i worked about 7 hours in from of my pc on 3 blogs i have and i want to say a big thanks for those plugins :) feel safer now hehe :P
 
wow, I could feel my wp site slowing down with all these plugins. Isn't wp a safe platform? Not to belittle these threats but I only use xcloner (to back up my entire site), use plugins maintained by the authors and verified by thousands of users, and legitimate (and free) themes.

There's nothing to belittle... But a lot to be lost if you get injected. ;)

whats supercache do? I already have a bunch of plugins and I want to take precautions but dont wont to lose speed?
 
you got to ensure you are preotecting your wordpress blog. so much hackers and spammers
