Protect Your Pineal Gland

Most highly mineralized mineral water (natural water) contains 1-3 mg/l of fluoride, which is A LOT. So, humans, depending on where they lived have been drinking fluoride for a long time. Nothing to worry about IMO. OTOH, drinking water with very low mineralization is not good for you - you need minerals.

This can make a great campaign with a great angle btw, is your tap water killing your brain ad -> landing page that scares people into thinking they are going to die from fluoride -> sell them a $5000 home filtration system or an ebook. Hehehe

The human body requires minerals but if you have a healthy diet you can obtain them from that, it does not have to be obtained from water.

Erhm I boil my water... does that help? I live in UK but I just don't think the water that comes out of the tap is as clean as they try to make it out to be.

Doesn't help with fluoride, but won't hurt in removing contaminants.

@myownhero, cigarettes were smoked for decades before being publicly condemned for cancer in the 1960's. When its so easy to filter out fluoride, I'm not going to even take the chance. If the president of the American Medical Association himself labels fluoride a "corrosive poison", his words not mine, then you have to be a fool to not think twice.

Speaking of the UK, does anyone know if we have fluoride in our taps?

You know what bothers me the most? It's my mother who is a dentist and believes that fluoride helps to strengthen our teeth, and I can not convince her that it is the opposite.

Whenever I think of those dentists that promote fluoride toothpaste I laugh because for all I know they haven't done their own research, they're just promoting what was given.

@ShadeDream

Assuming you get your water from Severn Trent take a look at the link:

I live in the UK and the water does have fluoride added to it.

OP is a rock star for bringing up this thread. I got Crohns disease in 2001 and I blame it on the crap food I ate in the 90s and all the chlorinated/fluoridated tap water I drank in school after recess etc. Now, I say I don't have Crohn's anymore after I switched my diet around and the water I drink. All that sh*t destroys your immune system.

There's much more than fluoride in our tap water to be concerned with: chlorine, pharmaceuticals that seep through the pipes, toilet paper and whatnot. Not drinking the stuff is the first step, then getting a filter for your shower head to remove the chlorine (chlorine permeates through the skin; why in the heck are ppl still doing laps and swimming in recreational pools??) or a reverse osmosis system to take out the fluorine and chlorine when you shower....

But the problem with RO or tap that you put through a standard brita or pur filter is you're not getting the beneficial minerals and it's still not removing all the crap. Best thing is to find a spring around your area that you know is clean. Even Mountain Valley Spring water has been filtered. I don't know of any springs around my area, but the only spring water I've found to buy that doesn't even filter their stuff is a place out in Maine called Summit Spring. I guess they're starting to show up in some co-ops/ whole food stores in the US. I bought from them a few times online but they're so darn expensive especially when I'm out in Minnesota and shipping is $30 or so.

For now I've settled with is Fiji water. I'm ok with drinking it for now, but I'd love to be able to keep buying Summit Spring water. And here's my boy Daniel Vitalis at the location where they harvest Summit Spring water:

Spring water in glass is the way to go. If everyone was eating organic food and drinking spring water the hospitals would be losing sooo much business. I'm not ruling out that these might be all steps for population control or just to keep the doctors and dentists employed.

Vote with your dollars- the less regular supermarket food you buy and the more you grow your own food or buy organic, then the companies have no choice but to start focusing more on organic. If you read that thing about bees and how 1/3 of them have vanished in the last 6 years, well why is that? It could very well be the chemicals and pesticides being sprayed on crops... and/or GMO

Several of you have commented on toothpaste. The best I've found that you can actually ingest is Earthpaste- no fluoride, glycerin or any of that crap. Even co-ops don't have totally natural toothpaste

Having been on the anti-flouride bandwagon since I was aware of the problem, I whole heartedly endorse this thread. Unfortunately the average American diet is very poor in necessary nutrients as it is, drinking good water is only a part of that equasion, one I'm afraid we'll never-- ever get back.

Simple ways to fight back and protect your family, though, are pretty plentiful. Buy spring water, not filtered/mineral water but actual spring water. Advocate, educate and inform. Use the tools of communication, they'll serve you well even if it takes a little sand paper to get the rust off. :P

Interesting topic, I must admit that I dont researched this subject so I cant really agree or disagree. I looked it up and it seems that in the Netherlands (where i'm from) adding fluoriding water is forbidden. That doesnt mean that there is no fluoride in the water. Some fruit for thoughts..

You know what bothers me the most? It's my mother who is a dentist and believes that fluoride helps to strengthen our teeth, and I can not convince her that it is the opposite.

So despite your mother being a professional, educated and practicing dentist, you mean to say she and all of her peers and wrong and you are right based on your youtube research?

Makes perfect sense..

OP what are the full precautions you would take to completely protect yourself from this damage. Filters on the sinks etc?

I am not discounting this discussion because I have not done the research for or against it BUT based on what I am reading is that 3rd world countries with very little government involvement (or plumbing for that matter) should have the least tarnished water then it would stand to reason they would be producing some of the brightest minds in the world.

You would think that with so many people not having fluoride that they would be just churning out some great spiritual leaders and creating fantastic technological advances.

Again, not saying yes or no here, but it does not seem to add up.
