I have prosper202 setup with hostwinds right now and I had a few questions for people who where using the software for tracking clickbank conversions. I have it setup with hostwinds, which they recommend, and have checked my links and they all are tracking properly but I have 3 conversions now while tracking and it has yet to show a single one as a conversion in prosper.

I have setup the 3rd party api like it said and still nothing. I even went into clickbank to try and look at the tracking id and it is generating some for my clickthroughs but for every sale it hasn't generated a single one. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I feel like I am throwing money in the trash since I cannot actually see which keywords are giving me the conversions (the whole point of the software). Is that normally all you have to setup the 3rd party api and it should work from there? Feel like I must be missing something.

    Thanks in advance

I haven't used prosper for a long time so I'm not sure what the 3rd party api that you're talking about is.

It should be pretty simple to update the conversions in prosper manually.

From my very hazy memory, when you setup your your affiliate link in prosper it should end in &tid=[[subid]]. When you get a CB conversion the tid field will then have the unique click id like 12345 and you can then upload that into proper to fire the conversion.

like it should have that number under clickbank tracking id correct? Thought I could just manually do that too but since it didn't show the number I cant manually update it.

Also the api thing must be a newer thing but its suppose to have clickbank ping back when you get a conversion so prosper updates that you got one for which keyword but that doesn't seem to be working either.

The postback will need the click id in the tid field as well to be able to fire.

Sounds like the issue maybe in the affiliate link setup. What do you have on the end of your affiliate link? &tid=

its not automatically updating in prosper. you have to put manually the subid from clickbank to your prosper to make your sales visible

ok follow up question, since I still haven't been able figure out whats wrong with conversions but, why might prosper not be tracking every single click. I am on host winds and I have had 78 clicks on bing ads but prosper has it logged as 47... it says I have optins but when I check mailchimp I actually have 13 for the day. I again check the links myself and it counts myself as opting into my own list. Any clue why this might be happening? So frustrating spending the money and getting 0 data out of it lol

hi - i can feel your frustration.
    1. as far as i know, prosper isn't integrated via api with clickbank
    2. you can add an image pixel on clickbank under the settings/mysite/integrated sales reporting
2.1 you should add an image pixel for the order form and an other one for the confirmation receipt
    3. you dont necesseraly have to pass any parameter as if it's an image pixel and if prosper provides you with an image pixel, it should work flawlessly.

otherwise, you can switch to trackingdesk and you'll be able to perform that very easily.

    good luck!

Just a follow up to say I figured out what was wrong. I was trying to use the software on a free sub domain but seems that was somehow affecting everything. I purchased a domain later to test and now every click and conversion is tracking.

Hello, I installed prospers202 and set up a direct linking campaign. When i generated the link it gives me the below error. Please help me.
"WARNING: This tracking link is not attached to any text ad, are you sure you want to do this?INSERT INTO `202_trackers` SET `user_id`='1', `aff_campaign_id`='3', `text_ad_id`='', `ppc_account_id`='5', `click_cpc`='0.00', `landing_page_id`='', `rotator_id`='', `click_cloaking`='-1', `tracker_time`='1445862939'

    Field 'tracker_id_public' doesn't have a default value"
