I understand I can turn my personal profile into a professional page similar to a facebook page where people can follow me etc.
What's the pros and cons of this? Why should I use my personal profile (no friends) over creating a new page? Or the other way round..

Let me know :)

In my opinion, creating a new page and building from scratch with your own brand will be better than the old page because the old page may have been previously involved in some policy violations.

That's not my question respectfully. My main profile can be turned into professional mode.. What's the difference between professional mode and facebook page?

Helps you see detailed information about content as well as reach and interaction on your personal page like a business fanpage.

A professional page boosts visibility but limits personal interactions; a personal profile offers privacy but less public engagement. Choose based on your priorities.

A professional page boosts visibility, while a personal profile offers privacy. Use a page for business, profile for personal use.

Using a professional profile boosts reach and engagement fast, but a new page gives you cleaner branding and ad tools, choose based on your long-term goals.

You need to determine what your purpose is, professional pages will increase accessibility to users and are often used for business purposes

Both pages have their own advantages and disadvantages, my friend. If you use an old page that has had good interaction before you set up an advertising campaign, it will have a higher level of prestige than new pages. But sometimes old pages will have worse interaction than new pages because they just create it and leave it there without creating interaction with the page regularly.

Converting your personal page to a professional page helps retain past engagement and increases trust, but can have advertising limitations and can be blocked if you violate policies. If you need to build your brand from scratch, creating a new page can be more flexible.

Converting your personal page to a professional page makes it easy to connect with your followers without creating a new account. However, a personal page limits advertising and analytics features, while a professional page allows you to separate your personal and professional lives and take advantage of more powerful marketing tools.

I think it will be better to create a new page and brand your as the old page may have violations some policies.

Using your personal profile offers more organic reach and authenticity while a professional page provides better analytics, ad tools, and separation of personal life
choose based on your goals and desired control

Pros of using a professional page: Better analytics, ad tools, unlimited followers.
Cons: Lower organic reach, more effort to manage.
Using personal profile (with followers only): Simpler, more personal reach, but lacks business features.

If you are an influencer in the community and have a lot of followers, using your personal profile as a page will be more effective than making a separate page about your business or something because it will increase your credibility more than a completely new page that does not have the trust you have to rebuild for a long time.

Some of the advantages of this are: Reaching a wider audience, tools for content creators, monetization opportunities, separating friends and followers, enhancing professional image
but there are also some disadvantages such as: changing the personal page interface, losing privacy to a certain extent, being able to receive many messages and comments from strangers and this can be annoying
