Property Rentals?

Hi all,

A friend of mine has offered me a little bit of extra cash if i can get him leads for 3 of his rental properties, so i was thinking of giving it a go as a learning experience. My plan is to start with the regional CL classifieds and see how that goes as a start.

Just wonder if anybody here has any experience with this field or even any helpful suggestions of other methods to put into effect?

i taught of realestate too. I think Cl is great for this, also ads in Newspaper worked good for me.

I have about 10-15 different sites(more being created) for rental properties and craigslist works very well.

I have been creating a nice ad with html & nice photos so your ad looks more like a webpage and not the small photos CL gives you. Sometimes I just post in the areas where the rental is located and sometimes I use an auto poster and post nation wide. Then I use a few people from here that offer backlink services & social postings and get links to the sites and doesn't cost much at all for the links.

I just did this for a few cabin rental sites that were mostly around page 3 of google listings and they all went to page one pretty quickly and got a big increase in traffic and the clients were happy.

If you post your email address in the ad be prepared for the scammers that want to over-pay with a cashiers check. They are easy to spot though because of the poor grammar.

think offline.. a lot of these apartment rental managers will accept a little fee for providing you with rental leads..
