I don't have much love for .tk sites, but everything has some use. The link might be useful as a testing ground, a thank you page, on a autosurf or traffic exchange, or link from a viral video, etc. Most IMers don't make bank, even using TLDs, so they should not be so dismissive somebody used a suboptimal means of setting up their money-making funnel (at least they didn't lose money doing it).
