Promotion methods? (Newbie!)

Hey guys!

I'd like to thank to the community of BHW for the excellent work!!!

I have 2 auto blogs hosted with WP and a bunch of plugins... and 10 or so autoblogs on blogger with email-to-blog kind of stuff...

I was wondering... what methods so you recommend to promote/get traffic to my blogs?

I know is a silly question... but I had tried with some methods here and I seem to have no results whatsoever... maybe because they're outdated or sth...

Any help will be welcome

use one of the many linkbuiding offers in this forum or try one of the offered tools.
it is nearly impossible to get legit backlinks for an autoblog.

Just start building links either manually, auto or buy a service. There are lots of ways and means to use to get links.

If you wanan learn more about building links and gaining traffic organically (which is probably the most sustainable way of generating traffic) look into posting links on blogs (comments and trackbacks), bookmarks, article submissions, and maybe look into getting some links from relevant forums (signature style links).

SEO is a time consuming task and can take a few weeks to show meaningful results so my biggest bit of advice would be to learn all about relevancy of links, keyword research and then go get some links.

Legit backlinks? What do you mean? A good autoblog can definitely get backlinks.

But to the OP's original question, you should think about setting up Twitter accounts that are niche specific to feed your blog posts to. It can help get your content indexed as well as generate some real traffic if you build the Twitter accounts up with real focused users.

I was thinking... will my autoblog get banned if I run a backlink campaing of, let's say, 2000 backlinks?

This autoblog is under a squeeze page... should the backlings go to the SP or to the blog and then redirect (through adds) to the squeeze page?

For me an autoblog is a blog that gets it content by spun or translated rss feeds. That is hardly readable or like written by an 8 year old.
And it is very unlikely that anyone will mention your autoblog without you makeing them to do so.

Build SEO links and do some youtube

Using wp-robot with TBS and the Best setting, people can and will treat your autoblog like any other. If you spin stuff to hell and just create a crap autoblog, you are wasting your time these days. If you treat it as an automated aggregate site meant for real people, then it's no different than any other site. Making your content legible is key.

I don't believe in set it and forget it autoblogs. They need to be fed into social media outlets and supported with some level of quality backlinking strategy.

So, should I send my traffic to my blog and from THERE... like in every post or sth, to the squeeze page? Or the way back?
