Promoting Shopify with FB ads

Hello folks

I'm newbie on Shopify and I would like to ask you about the best way to promote the products on FB
should I boost the FB page first or promoting the product directely ?
cuz most of stores contain small Facebook fans, however I plan to invest a 200 $ to boost my FB page; what do you suggest guys ?
