Promoting Pins hidden benefits?

Hey peoples, so im just wondering, I've been promoting a pin for 2 weeks and want to ask

1. Does the pins stats of impressions, clicks, saves from the promotion help it be shown in general if I ever hit some huge stats. Even after i stop running ads

2. Any other thing i may be overlooking
