Promoting dating sites

I have been trying to promote some dating sites through POF but my campaigns have been a disaster. I know there are many factors that can be involved such as the offer, demographics, landing page, etc.. but I was wondering if advertising other people dating sites in POF is profitable at all?

Just an idea for how bad my campaigns have been.. I had 368 clicks, 1 conversion :(
 
Advertise on BHW
That's bad...

Test all of the following:
1. Your offers
2. Your LP
3. Try direct linking
4. Your targeting

I'm no guru, but that your conversion rate is awful.

I have a few profitable dating campaigns running on PoF. I have a lot more unprofitable ones that failed.

Do many leads convert to paid sales on POF?
 
I am not an expert when it comes to it, but why are people going to click from a free dating site to go and pay and sign up at another? Can not see it being good for conversions.

That's the key. No one is going to sign up to another dating site when they are already using one that offers the same thing for free. Advertising an offer should be placed somewhere that traffic with relevant interests will surf. That's why dating sites are usually advertised on porn tubes. You jerk to these sexy bitches so here's an offer that can actually help you meet one!(or at least think you can) catch my drift?
 
try the chat traffic system, you have to convince your client to upgrade their membership of course so you can hav your conversion.. i have site that accepts chat traffic
 
Since most of the people are on POF, because it's free; very few are interested in paying.
 
Does the chat traffic system still work? What tools do you recommend? I did a quick search here but couldn't find relevant info.

yes chat traffic still works..the tools you need are just IMs, and a social networking or dating site to fish clients. try to search for ewhoring technique or chat selling, something like that..
 
I think what you should drive here would be adult sites. Like some of the members said, why sign up for a dating site when you are on a FREE one. You should push leads to adult sites where they pay for entertaining videos...you catch my drift

Adult sites are against POF terms
 
PatrickLSO? What? You are trying to get emails from POF, then build your email list and send them affiliate links. Except everyone's sending links to other dating sites, when you should promote adult entertainment.

I have made a couple campaigns work with this traffic in the past but the cost is just to high now. The dating companies buy traffic direct which drives the price up. You can't compete against the actual site you want to promote, they can always pay more. Recently I have had some luck with sites such as xvideos for purchased traffic. You really need to test the hell out of everything. Offers, pages, banners, you need to try and get every bit of conversion out of it you can to try and make some money these days.
 
i made some money with pof , You should find a cpa offer that pays for dating leads..
It worked good.... all i do is just copy past the message to everyone who messages me in the pof..
 
I am experiencing a huge success in $$$ making, promoting adult dating sites after i tried several other networks and had similar issues...why not trying.
