Hi all,

I am working on promoting a ClickBank product with AdWords at the moment.

However, I am getting an error when I try to get an advert approved because I am trying to get traffic direct to the URL clickbank has given me.

E.g
Display URL: product.com
Real URL: gsdfjsgdfgsdfhj.hop.clickbank.net/

Is there a way to get around this? Would I still make comission if i chose my real URL to be: product.com/?hop=powelly

Many Thanks :)

use a landing page of your own...but if you want to go direct then try a redirect

Display URL: product.com
Real URL: randomdoamin.info --->redirects to--->gsdfjsgdfgsdfhj.hop.clickbank.net/

Your best bet for getting ads approval is to send to your own landing page.

Another thing you can do quite easily is to make up a simple Iframe that sends them to the link you want.

IE:

<html>
<body>
<iframe src="hxxx://exact name of the clickbank here. must have the forward slash at end as it is here/"
width="100%" height="100%" scrolling="yes" name="content" frameborder="0">
</iframe>
</body>
</html>

Just make an html page with the above code, exact. Then name it something simple link at.htm. Then have adwords send them to yourdomain.com/at.htm.

Your visitor will go straight to the clickbank link.

That said, the advice from previous posts will make you more money. If you have them come to your own landing page first, you can capture there information and add them to your all important personal list.

Good luck,
Terry

Guess I should have proofed before sending.:eek:

Should have been "Then name the page something simple like "at.htm"

Should have bee "you can capture their information"

I am going to try this method, thanks for your help everyone - it is much appreciated! :)

iframing will work initially, because google's algorithms aren't designed to auto-disapprove them, but eventually adwords will ban your ass for having too many "thin affiliate sites", because it's against their TOS.

blah i havnt used adwords in ages, FB is king now also PPV traffic
