Today I came across an interesting listing on eBay, it was about The Elder Scrolls Online.
In fact this was a $1 auction. It contained description taken from Amazon about this pre order product.
He said in the listing "do not bid" and said you should it buy it off Amazon, providing his Amazon affiliate link.

So this might be a very good idea driving traffic to your Amazon affiliate link. As it was $1 and nobody bids, it did not cost him anything.

I am only wondering if this will really work and people will really click on his link.

Some people may click on it but not for to long until ebay removes the listing .
He is saying dont buy of ebay but go to my amazon link ?
Do you really think ebay will like this ?
Lets hope you have plenty of spare accounts if your going to try this .

Tried this a numerous amount of ways, doesn't matter how you list the item or how you word it, if eBay suspect you're taking there visitors/customers else where, you'll receive a message about 'avoiding fees' or your auction will be taken down.

Quite annoying actually because you would be able to offer products for a LOT cheaper than you would sell on eBay because of there listing/selling/PayPal fees.

And if you do not say anything like "do not bid"?
Also, if you make a 3 day or even 1 day auction, I do not think that eBay will be that fast to detect your listing.
I made good experiences with 1 day auctions, if you have something really good to sell you will get hundreds of views in these 24 hours

This will not last long and the money earned is not enough to wast the account...

No, they will not ban your account, max. risk would be that the listing will be taken down .....
But, if you do a 1-day-auction, I highly doubt they will remove it .... there are millions of listings started per day so how could they find yours within some hours ....

Did anyone use this plugin?
it looks like a good one...

It doesn't matter how long you list it, I had a product on eBay that I was offering way less than the price others was listing, I was getting a ton of views but no purchases/clicks through my link or me offering a service. eBay will always be able to view YOUR listing even if it ends, doesn't matter how old it is.

If you aren't worried about getting your account banned, my guess would be the best choice of item would be Game Cards (PSN, XBOX) or highly sold items. Not your every day 5 items sold in a month item.

I'm bothered about my account being banned so I don't pursue this idea.

this is very risky.. ebay and amazon already rivals (although ebay is nothing compared to amazon) and redirecting sales from ebay to amazon! big no no I think...
