Promoting adult products as something else

I was thinking about selling adult products like male masturbators and vibrators, but I know it’s too direct and not allowed on most mainstream platforms. Maybe someone has tried this or has experience in the field. Would it make sense to market them in a more subtle way, like calling them "banana cleaners" with actual banana pictures, or positioning vibrators as cappuccino mixers?


Does that approach seem viable?

I think I saw TikTok ads promoting adult products this way. You can also try Google shopping ads, they allow adult products.
 
Or don’t promote on mainstream media but focus/target on Adult related platforms with thirsty/ready to buy mfs who are watching porn on these sites already…
 
I believe the best approach is to drive traffic from mainstream platforms to your private domain, and then proceed with sales.
 
Sex toys is very good business as ltv is high, but advertising is a hell( better don’t even start with fb google and go directly to in app sources
 
You can try sex toys on FB, they are not easy to advertise but if you have good accounts you might be able to see some results. I did female sex toys and it took a bit of time to FB flag the ad
