Project optimizing help

Hi,

hope i'll be right in this thread.
I'm owner of an image hosting service (bigpichost dot com) since 2006.
Daily visitors 6500-9000, daily page views ca. 20,000

One of my questions is now how i can achieve even more visitors?
Then i want to ask how i can improve the placement of the advertising respectively what possibilities i have to increase my advertising revenue?

do you use for each picture a good alt image keywords ????
just make a test and look how long you can get al text per image
