I,m looking for a developer to help build a black hat system to sell a one of a kind product. No one else sells this product.
I am prepared to offer 10% of each sale.

10% does seem a little low, without a developer you don't even get a system. If your idea is so awesome you'd just pay for a developer because you're totally confident in it.

Or perhaps you are not willing to back the idea with your own money just yet? In that case you REALLY need to up your offer to more like 40 to 50 percent in order to tempt anyone.

And also if the developer puts in all the work to make the product, whats to stop him from simply selling it independantly once he made it? Come on, at least be fair, 10% is measley, you need to show more respect.

I have a unique product that I will be selling on a site I build. What I want someone to do is set up the black hat bit to drive targeted visitors to the site.

Usually with a developer you could expect to go 70/30 or 60-40

People dont want to put in lots of work and get crap returns.

You see to be hitting two points and not really confirming what you're looking for, a developer, or someone to provide you with SEO services, or indeed both?

Either way, you're going to need to capital to pay some up-front fee's, as no one is going to develop or provide SEO services without either that, or some huge security (e.g. 60%+ cut, and that's if you had a good reputation on here, and a lot to bring to the table).

In regards to how I knew that 2% of your product wasn't $10,000? Common sense. 2% being $10,000 would assume the product would sell for $500,000. No software product goes for that much, aside from perhaps extremely large bespoke software designed for major corporations.

Thanks for the clear reply. I did not have a clue. It was both I was looking for. but I'm gonna have to sort it myself. It was just building a website and seo, but after another 36 hours reading and a pound of coffee, I think I can do it.
