Other than javascipt are there any other good trendy programming languages out there for a starter..?

Yes. Also, there are plenty of Javascript libraries/frameworks that you can learn. Next.Js, for instance.

Python would be what I would suggest you learn. It's easier than JS and also, has more capabilities for a marketer. Botting/automation purposes.

Depends, but for what? There are other trending languages, for example go and python. They have their own use cases.

I personally would recommend learning C first so that you really get to understand programming from a low level. Then you can move on to easier languages such as Python.

I suggest the 'Intro to Computer Science' course by CS50 on EDX, it's free.

Python for sure, I think this is one of the best to learn right now

The problem with these questions is they are always opinionated.... stick to JS and master it. You can run JS in the browser and on the server so you get exposure to both worlds. You can create amazing bots and desktop apps with JS. Don't learn a programming just for the sake of learning it. Learn a language to master it and do something useful with it.

Thank you so much and i have appreciated the help responses.

I would recommend C# there is a wealth of resources out there and alot of different paths to follow as you gain experience.

It's not about what's trending right now. Your language choice depends on what do you want to accomplish with it.

Scripting and general IM: Python
Cross-platforms mobile: Dart + Flutter
Web: PHP
Windows apps: C#

When you learn programming with solid foundations and the logic (algorithmic) you'll find that the logic part is the most important part.

In every language you'll find variables, conditions, loops, classes...switching from language to language will be easy for you if you have a solid foundations.

I encourage you to learn Python.

Python will probably be pretty easy for you to learn.
