I'm a computer programmer, A few months ago I created a complete search engine just like google, bing. It's a beta version and I took time off after writing to analyze some formulas. Currently redesigning the search engine for much more accurate searches. I deem a few weeks to one month I will have it complete. I truly believe I can make a business go off the search engine. I do not have problems getting traffic after some short burst test studies.
Programming knowledge and traffic in hand . My problem I'm facing now is wanting to run the profit earnings through ad networks and I am in need of a partner or two since I do not have the expertise or connections in making money from ad revenue.
I have written part of the new code and ran traffic through while using Juicyad network during a case study a few days ago. This was my results:
57 clicks 63 raw 427 views 14.75% CTR
8 clicks 8 raw 27 views 29.63% CTR
I average around 23.29% CTR on my previous juicyad running's from 1 ad. I do not know if this is good or not. I believe more ads on the pages at CPM, PPC would run me more. My realistic goal's in ad revenue currently is to profit 1$ per 1000 visitors or views.
I don't understand Juicyads though.
Yesterday I delivered 64 unique clicks, 70 raw clicks and 774 impressions on one of my study's yet only earned 32 cents. This is well below even 1 cent a click why?
