Hi BHW Member & SEO Experts,

I want to know what programmatic SEO is and how to do it. My website niche is eBook Publishing. Can any expert tell me how I can do programmatic SEO for my website?

Your reply will be appreciated.

Can you elaborate about the niche of your website?

I want to know what programmatic SEO is
It´s a way to build content at scale in an efficient and productive way.

and how to do it.
The first step is to conduct a keyword research report and find a set of keywords you can build content around at scale.

For example, let´s say you have an app that helps with procrastination and you want to build a series of articles around how to block a set of apps in your android device. Then, you would need to "scrape" Google´s autocomplete feature for the search term "How to block [NAME OF THE APP] on android".

If you do this process right, you should have hundreds of topic potential to write content around.

Another common example where you can implement programmatic SEO is for a local business offering dozens of services and serving hundreds of locations.

For example, let´s say you´re working for a fencing company that offers:
  • wood fencing
  • chain link fencing
  • aluminum fencing
  • Vinyl fencing
  • Concrete fencing
  • Ornamental fencing
  • Ranch Fencing
  • Etc
And serving like 20 different areas in a big metropolitan city. So, if you´re offering 10 services and serving 20 areas you will have to build 200 dedicated service pages for each.

And the list can go on and on.

Would recommend re-reading & diving deep into what @Roger Marquez posted:

It's then just applying that Programmatic SEO to your niche: "ebook publishing" + some keyword research.

Simple example, say a valuable keyword was "ebook publishing on amazon". In a programmatic sense, "amazon" there could be a keyword that's replaced with other terms.
  • Ebook publishing on [NAME]
    • Ebook publishing on amazon (main keyword)
    • Ebook publishing on google play store
    • Ebook publishing on apple books
It's just finding/determining all those possible keywords + variations for your niche, then generating content for it.
