I have been using Facebook Advertising for promoting CPA offers for about two years now, and the result has been outstanding. Now coming to the point, everyone seems to be making a fortune with 'Viral Nova'-like websites, so I decided to give this a go.

Before I start, for this 'Viral Nova' like website that I am using, I currently have no means of monetizing it, but plan to use Google Adsense later at some point.

This was a trial to test the waters, and I think that the outcome was fantastic. The Advertisement campaign was for Post Engagement, and was advertised only on News Feed, for both desktop and mobiles.

With $20 budget, I was able to get about 2200 post engagement, i.e. Likes/Comments/Shares.

As you can see, I got $0.01 per post engagement, 20% CR, and $1.57 CPM! If I let the AD run for more budget, the CPM is bound to come down owing to the response that it got.

These are the countries that I have targeted, all Tier 1:

I also ended up receiving about 1900 unique visits to the website that was included on the post.

So this is a reminder to those trying to use Facebook Advertisement that it is indeed still very profitable. You just need to target the right audience.

And to the ones that are currently using Facebook Advertisement, what do you think about the stats of my Ad?

So you posted a post with image on your FB page? and then promoted that post for engagement? and in that post you had URL' of your website/blog which got you 1.9K traffic?

How did this prove its profitable? How much money did you make from those visitors after expenses = profit

Damn those are some sick ass impressive ass stats bro!

I'd like to know the above too. You made a image post, added a short description on the side with a link?

It would be good if you share your technique for getting engagement at low cost. thanks in advance

Yes. 'Cause he posted content that makes you click. That's how "ViralNova/Buzzfeed" generate revenue.

I would love to discuss your results with you. No matter what I do targeting wise I seem to get capped at 400-500 unique visits and it's just not profitable enough. Regardless your formula or content ( probably a little of both) is winning. After reading this I decided to put together another quick test again and see if I could laser target my audience (although this is where it gets tricky) to produce similar results for just the unique visits. I will chime in with how I fair in the eve.

Yeah op please share some of that fb magic with us. I know there are factors such as the type of ad and his targeting but I am really zeroing in and still not that good. I will post where I finish at.

It really depends from your niche and targetting. The higher CR the lower cost of engagement. Try to optimize your ads for engagement, i.e. make fb users to check out your story/product, comment or like the picture.

I am also doing the same and it is super duper impressive sort of traffic.

The right way to do it is grave dig shocking news with link baiting titlelines, you should expect some huge spike in traffic to your site.

Anyway, nice stats OP. :)

I like these threads that show the stats, showing everyone that it can be done, but doesn't saturate a method by giving it away to thousands of newbies. Good work OP.

There is no magic. Keep doing what you are doing to get good at it. Aim for progress, not perfection.

Spoon feeding should be banned on BHW :)

Post Engagement is what you should promote using Facebook Advertisement. In this way you get MUCH better response. As for targeting, to be honest, there's nothing much to tell. Just create different AD sets with $10-$15/day budget, and look out for the one that gives the best CTR, then increase budget for that.

In order to get more visitors to your website, here's a simple trick that I follow - For example your post is about the Top 10 Hottest Date-able Men of 2014, what you are going to do is have two pictures of two different guys from the top 10 list in your post, and write something like this - Number #3 is totally going to leave you awestruck. Full story here - yourwebsite.blalhblahblah.

There's no MAGIC, it's all about trial and error.

Cheers.

Kid, I don't know what your referring to about spoonfeeding? I used my own money to test and replicate the above results. Asking for information is NOT spoonfeeding brother and my reference to fb magic was a joke.

Thanks for the valid information and again the "magic" comment was a joke as mentioned above.

Yeah, good title burst the CTR. Have you got any experience with boosting posts or post engagement (users action) is the best choice for facebook ? :)

My plan for upcoming website is similiar, fb ads, interesting content and at the end, people could share content and drive new traffic to website.

Good job :)

I have a 'viral-nova' site , I get these rates for every ad I do (POST ENGAGEMENT) ,but it doesn't pay off with adsense ..
I get much fewer clicks on my websites so I lose more than I generate .. That's why I decided to slow down with facebook ads.
BTW why did you stop CPA ?

I didn't stop CPA, neither will I ever stop doing CPA. That is very profitable and scaleable.

I am just tring out new things.
