Profiting From "Brexit"

Against what currency? I am planning to trade in the London stock exchage
Against USD.
You can trade currencies 24h,5 days/week.

Is that a yes or no? Lol
I have a felling the pound will collapse even further.
Market & feelings don't go together. Most of the people lose because of the emotions involved.

If you have money to invest, try IM,better chances for a decent return.

I don't play the commodities anymore but that was an adage that we went by.

Chasing the market does not usually work as the price is typically moved by emotions and if the news is reporting it you can bet any major moves in the commodity have been made already.

Situations like this are best spent sitting out unless you are inside.

Should have shorted the pound! Missed out! New it was the right option but was hesitant.

you'll get another chance. other countries will be following britain... the yen went up for some reason.

"Both European and Asian stock markets crashed
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/d493...vote-leaving-eu-rocks-world-financial-markets on opening Friday morning as investors dumped shares, according to
the Associated Press.

Oil prices crashed and the pound is at its lowest level since 1985 against the U.S. dollar. It was the pound's greatest single-day drop in history.

Britain's FTSE 100 dropped eight percent. The German index dropped ten percent. Followed by France that fell seven percent. Tokyo stock markets were also slammed with Nikkei 225 dropping eight percent, its biggest loss since 2008. Asian stock markets expect to finish the day at the lowest in years."

With that grim news as a backdrop, it's hardly surprising that the British pound would shave off nearly ten percent of its value in less than a day.

The question now is will the pound be able to recover? It's possible the pound is destined to suffer in the short-term, only to surge in value if Brexit proves to be in the best interest of the British.

But what if that's not what happens? It only took one bad day for France to become wealthier than Great Britain. What happens if the years of legal wrangling create more uncertainty?

Or if the United Kingdom gets hit by a massive recession it doesn’t have the means to recover from alone?

It's entirely possible that the Brexit might ultimately cost the UK both Scotland and Northern Ireland -- factors that could also negatively impact the British pound.

Unfortunately, we are barely even a day beyond the vote, and so it's hard to predict whether the pound will only suffer short-term consequences or if we’re looking at the early days of a massive drop in value.

Despite panic over Brexit and the negative impact on the pound, it wasn't a terrible day for some. In fact, there were a couple of strong winners in the aftermath of the market meltdown over Brexit: the Japanese Yen and Bitcoin.

Reuters reports http://www.reuters.com/article/us-britain-eu-japan-aso-idUSKCN0ZA0MV that the Yen surged following the Brexit vote.

Finance Minister Taro Aso commented that, if the Yen did too well, Japan would intervene in the event of an "excessive show of strength."

"'I'm extremely concerned about the risk (Brexit) has on the global economy, financial and currency markets,' Aso told reporters. 'It is extremely important to ensure growth in the global economy, as well as maintaining currency and financial stability.'"

Now this shit right here is what it means to be an entrepreneur.

If Brexit actually happpens and the non binding vote isn't ignored, will the market crash even more that day or was this non binding vote more panic inducing?

I believe that the actual intent is induce fear and panic. As the world fifth largest economy none can really afford to snub the UK even if the withdrawal from the UK is culminated. If Scotland and Northern Ireland choose to withdraw from the UK, then those countries will cut their own throat.

The vote in the UK has the European Union seriously reconsidering their immigration policies. Like the US, poor immigration policies of the EU are the source of much of the discontent.

The pound is down, then it is a good time to buy and hold for a while as it will go up again. However, do not underestimate the "Bandwagon" effect. I believe that in the US the bandwagon effect is why the news media is always trumping that Clinton is ahead of Trump in the polls. People seem not to consider that polls are biased to the Democrats by between five and fourteen percent and just want to jump on the bandwagon so that they will not be wrong.

Look at the UK and think about that bandwagon effect. If the media trumpets the harms of an EU divorce, most people will not think anything but what the media tells them and will jump on the bandwagon. It is very difficult to walk your own path because you have to accept any failings as your own. On the other hand it is easy to walk the path of others because then any failings are not yours.

May be this is the best time for UK to renegotiate all those vital issues, immigration including.... I think that france, etc are hyping up to hide their fear (without being able to use strong British economy to their advantage for their main problems areas -- like overcoming greece, italy, etc "states"). When someone shows such urgency in shouting that a valuable and a rich partner (like the UK) is not needed, and it should get out at the earliest, then something about it is not right.Legally too, it's not possible to ask a partner to 'stop coming to the office from the next day'....

I guess that France actually wants UK to be next to it so that its own share towards EU problems is reduced significantly, but is a front-running state wanting UK out of EU tomorrow. Germany, I think, understands the real problems of being without UK in the EU. That country will be ready to renegotiate and get UK favorable conditions if EU remains strongly united with UK in it.

May be otherwise, but this is what I gather from the urgency shown by some countries asking UK to get out immediately... they all know that this will begin the domino effect if UK goes out. They also know that Scotland is absolutely a poor replacement for a long time to come... Scottish treasures are not that valuable to EU in the present time compared to the overall expertise UK brings on their table, imo.

just a reminder that this is about discussing "profiting" from brexit - ie, what to invest in (gold / bitcoin); what to promote, etc. not for discussing the mindset/agenda behind brexit.

so, what opportunities will become available soon?

I strongly recommend rank sites for keywords selling barbed wire, Irish passports, stylish hugo boss military uniforms or anything needed to construct concentration camps.

Important to avoid anything targeted at ethnic minorities, any religion that is not church of england and anything for people that are not white as they will be in concentration camps soon enough.

1 way tickets away from the most racist embarrassment on earth.

Also I predict the return of fox hunting, and once they remove the human rights act (which they will) I expect the televised sport of horseback disabled hunting on the newly privatised murdock run BBC.

PS. I am really enjoying watching this country burn from afar, you fucking retards.

here's a good item to invest in, old time scales! :D

Butcher Starts Selling Meat in Imperial Pounds and Ounces After Britain Ditches the EU

A BUTCHER has started selling meat in pounds and ounces for customers fed up of the metric system following the Brexit vote.

But butcher Darren Gratton said a lot of his customers who voted to ditch the EU wanted their meat sold in pounds and ounces – the older imperial method.

Mr. Gratton, from Barnstaple, Devon, said: "The next step is to speak to North Devon Council and if they say we can go back to pounds and ounces then we will do."

Good trolling. For a moment I thought you were actually that hysterical and anxious. You even spelled "Englland" in your profile to make it look even more like you are an idiot.
