Hey guys! I'm The process of starting my first blog. I have picked a niche and researched some good keywords. Problem is, I'm not sure if this niche is going to convert very well? It's sort of an information based niche for people who'd like to educate themselves a bit. I'm really passionate about this niche so my questions is. Should I pick something else where convertions probably are vetter or Should I stick to my passion? What ways can I monetize my blog?

Thanks for the advice. Will stick to it, I figured that it Will be easier to blog about something I feel passionate about.
 
Stick with something you're good with.
Your readers will feel if you will write about stuff you have no clue about and doing it only for money. Hence, you will not have good results.
 
You can also look at the the competition score for the keywords in Google adwords, as well as the average CPC. That way you at least know if you can make money from adsense, and also, if there are advertisers as well, then you can assume that it is converting for those advertisers.

Will take a look at it, I'm quite certain that customers in my niche most likely Will purchase courses / books rather than physical items.
 
Regardless of the niche, provide your readers with value and it can be profitable.
 
First, have you checked if the keywords get any real traffic? You can use stuff like semrush thesdays for that

Yep already checked and it gets loads of trafic :)

Please keep in mind that this is ONE process

Start with attracting people, filter them, then GET THEM TO TRUST!

no one... and I mean NO ONE... will buy from you if they don't trust you

Stick to your passion as you will be more apt to stick with it.
 
People search for everything on the net and you will be able to monetize your site if you have traffic. I think you have an edge if you pick and offbeat niche. That way you have to deal with less competition. You will also be able to cook up some really nice post, considering this being your passion.
 
Tech and Gaming could be the best that will convert well. With easy to rank keywords related to gaming and that have high CPC. Trust me, you'll make a living from Google Adsense.

Can you tell me what is Niche? I am new to this community and I still can't understand that word. I know that it is a Jargon and I can't search it on the internet.
 
Are there other competitors in this niche? Look at how they are making money
 
If you are passionate about their niche then go with that. You can go longer with passion. So keep it up and sure you can get success.
