For you guys who are dropshipping, I would like to start but I don't want to jump the gun. I have a few questions. I picked my product and I want to focus on 1 advertising channel, either TikTok/Instagram videos or Meta ads.

1. Can you tell me which was more effective for you?
2. For you who run Meta ads how much do you spend on ads monthly and how much is your profit from selling your product after you deduct ad cost?
3. For you who remember when you got started, how much were you spending on ads at the beginning? (I suppose you weren't selling much back then since you were mostly testing out the market)

And if you can share some more information about how and where to start, advertising and costs to me as a beginner.

I have similar questions and I hope someone will answer this thread.

I stopped working with it a while ago, but TikTok Ads was more profitable for me. With FB Ads, you constantly need to spend money buying FB profiles, BMs, ad accounts and dealing with their random bans

  1. Both TikTok/Instagram videos and Meta ads can be effective, but it really depends on your product and target audience. Testing both can help you find what works best.
  2. When starting with Meta ads, it's common to spend cautiously at first. Many beginners start with a budget of around $100-$500 per month and gradually scale up as they see what works.
  3. In the early days, expect to spend more on learning and testing than on profit. It's all about refining your strategy and understanding your market.
For beginners, focus on learning from successful dropshippers, keep testing, and adjust your strategy based on what gets results.
