I’ve been running ads on Facebook and wanted to get your thoughts. Is it better to run ads using a page that’s connected directly to a profile or add the page under a Business Manager? I’m curious about the pros and cons for stability, scaling, and avoiding restrictions. Would love to hear what’s been working for you

Both methods are perfect. Running ads on an account linked to a more established profile is generally a good idea because such accounts are often older. However the only concern is that if the ad account gets restricted or banned, it could also affect your main profie

on the other hand to avoiding restrictions you can create ads account under Business Manager is better for scaling, stability, and avoiding restrictions as it separates personal profiles from ad accounts.

Hope my experience will be of some help to you
1. Running Ads Using a Page Directly Connected to a Profile

Pros:

  • Quick Setup: It's faster to get started since you don’t have to set up Business Manager.
  • Simple for Small Campaigns: If you’re running a small number of ads, managing them directly from the page might be easier and more straightforward.
Cons:

  • Limited Control: You won't have access to all the advanced tools and features offered by Business Manager, like team collaboration, access control, and in-depth reporting.
  • Risk of Account Suspension: If your personal Facebook profile is flagged, your busines
  • Harder to Scale: As your business grows, managing multiple accounts or pages directly from your profile can become cumbersome. Adding new people or managing permissions is less flexible.

2. Running Ads Through Business Manager

Pros:

  • Increased Stability: Business Manager separates your personal account from your business activities. This provides a layer of protection, so if your personal account faces any issues, your business account may not be affected.
  • Scalability: Business Manager allows for easy scaling, as you can manage multiple pages, ad accounts, and users from one central hub. It's ideal for running large-scale campaigns or managing multiple clients or businesses.
  • Advanced Tools: You have access to better tools for ad management, reporting, and audience targeting. Plus, you can integrate with Facebook Pixel and other tracking tools for more accurate data collection.
  • Team Collaboration: You can assign different roles (e.g., admin, advertiser, analyst) to team members, making it easier to collaborate while keeping control of your account’s security.
  • Better Control and Access: You can manage permissions, and it’s easier to give others access to your pages and ad accounts without compromising your personal Facebook profile.
  • Reduced Risk of Restrictions: Business Manager adds a level of separation between your personal Facebook account and your business activities, which can help protect you from restrictions that might affect personal accounts.
Cons:

  • Learning Curve: There’s a bit of a learning curve when setting up Business Manager, especially if you’re new to Facebook ads or have never used it before.
  • Initial Setup: Setting up a Business Manager account takes more time compared to linking a page directly to your personal profile.

Using a page under Business Manager is better for stability, scaling, and minimizing restrictions. It provides centralized control, better tools for scaling, and separates personal profiles from ad activities. Directly connected pages are more prone to restrictions if your profile faces issues.

It’s best to run ads through Business Manager for more control, scalability and to minimize the risk of restrictions, as it separates personal and business activities.

Business Manager can separate your personal account from your business assets, manage multiple pages and ad accounts, provide more control and advanced features, and has certain stability and scalability

Using a Business Manager is generally better for stability, scaling, and avoiding restrictions, as it provides more control, reporting tools and separation from personal profiles.

Thanks alot. Will try to use BM, Any service all you guys has been use?

If you’re planning to grow and avoid headaches, definitely go with Business Manager.

In my experience, using a Business Manager often provides better oversight and scalability while helping to reduce restrictions. On the other hand, running ads directly from a personal page may be simpler for smaller campaigns but can lack the same level of control

Both are good, using a page linked to a profile is simple, but Business Manager gives more control and scalability. It’s all about what works best for you!

I agree with the sharings of people above. let's choose which you see the best for you
