Profile posts and update your status rule clarification

Hello and thanks for your time

I tried (and failed) to find specific rules relating to profile posts and the "update your status" option.

As you can see in this screen grab below, I have not replied to these messages ...

Because I assume that would constitute "selling outside the marketplace".

I received a bunch of infractions recently, before finally learning how to behave on this forum.



I appreciate any clarity on the two publishing options above ...

For example, can I post a link to an external site, in my "Update your status" section?

How about a banner, which links offsite to my website of choice?

I think I know the answer to the next question ... but I may as well clarify for myself and others.

Can I answer people who have left a comment on my profile page (as shown above in the screen grab)

I assume not ... in which case I should just delete these comments right? (Selling outside marketplace etc)

What if I link back to an authorized marketplace thread, as an answer to their question?

Sorry for the confusion ... I'm not trying to be smart or find work-arounds.

I just don't want any more infractions, and even though I would love to contact these people directly - I won't as this would break the rules.

My plan is to roll out a JV/Cpa offer in the marketplace in about a week's time.

And so I guess I want to know ... can I post a reply to these comments and point them to that marketplace thread?

And can I update my status with an offsite link, a banner, or perhaps an internal link to a marketplace-approved thread.

Our rules are farily clear and easy to follow; however, I see you're on your final warning for selling outside the marketplace. The PM's you've received when getting these warnings will have made the position clear based on your previous actions. To cover your specific question and thanks in advance for taking the time to be so precise.
If someone posts a question on your profile then we actively recommend that you reply to them and engage. You should post the answer to their questions and we highly recommend you provide a link to your marketplace thread if that solves the questions they are asking. Just don't spam that link in every answer. I'd recommend using your signature space to promote your marketplace thread.

I'd recommend reading section 3 of our terms https://www.blackhatworld.com/help/terms/ as this is the one that appears to be catching you out in the last 2 warnings. As your query is specific to your previous infractions I'd recommend raising a support ticket if you have any further questions on this matter.
