Fair enough trick.I used to work on google groups long back had low traffic.But question is do we get good enough clicks.On an average how many clicks are expected from each group???
What the problem with groups is we see lot of people joined it but how many are active we never know it.

With profile links on forums etc is it worth filling them out with links to your site even if they are not related or would that be a waste of time.
Please bear with me I'm a noob when it comes to SEO but highly motivated to learn and teach myself how to improve.
