I am currently using Auto Backlink Bomb (not free).

.. Of course they do, and likely always will.

Panda 1, and 2 effected duplicate content, and link farms. Not backlinks.

They still have a place in the world. I like using them for my Web 2.0 and supporting buffer sites. They help increase the index ratio of them and help pass along some link juice.

I also recommend adding content to the profiles if possible. This usually always helps them get indexed easier since there's more than just outbound links and little info on them.

There's something going round called baby xrumer or some shit. Stupid name and full of ads but apparently free and posts profile links.

I forgot the precise name cos it was cute and stupid so didn't remember so you'll have to look more yourself but that will start you off if you ask around.
