Profile Links - Which is the best way?

I have been making a fair few profile / signature type backlinks. I have imacros set up for different types of sites to register and the create my profiles.

Most sites let you have 3 links in the profile, so my question is, does it make a difference if you have 3 totally different links to 3 different sites, or 3 different links to 3 pages on one site?
Or do the search engines not care....

I've been doing the exact same thing with profile back links myself. I think the issue with 3 back links to 3 pages on the same site is the IP source. Google knows it came from the same IP/spot, so it won't take it so seriously - I think.

What I've started to notice is I'll use the same email/user name to register on 100 VBulletin sites with a macro. When the links do arrive, they'll all be from the same username. If anyone from Google ever did a human check on those back links it'll be obvious as hell that they were generated by the same person. I gotta take the time to create different user names for each profile.

I'd suggest linking to 3 different domains, if possible, 3 hosted on different IPs. I can't say whether you'll have better or worse results as I've never personally looked into it that closely, but from everything I've read that has influenced how I do it, you probably should.

ok, sounds good.. I have been linking to 3 different domains any way, the only problem is that they are all on one hosting account.
Maybe as i build more sites i will just open more hosting accounts..

Thanks for the advice

I think you should be fine. I've been doing this kind of work for the last few months with no problems.
