so 2 months ago i did a profile backlink blast on one of my web sites, it started to go up in rankings after a weeks. but i never really checked my profiles on google if they are indexed. today i wanted to check it so i ran them through google and found out that only 7-8 profiles are actually indexed in google.

does this mean that i did not get any juice from them and the raising of the rankings is due to another factor?

and even the ones that are indexed, they are not showing up if i download my links from google webmaster tools? is that normal? it has been 2-3 months now that the links are placed. i thought it should be in webmaster tools by now.

so do you recommend i work on getting them indexed now? or do you think google already saw them and it is not important if they are indexed..

The first thing I'd do is check that the profile links are still there. If they're not indexed there's a good chance they've been deleted and no longer exist. If they're still there you should backlink them to get them indexed. As far as google showing backlinks, I've got thousands of backlinks that don't show up in google webmaster but when checked with other tools do come up. As a test go to yahoo's site explorer and see if they turn up there and look at the differences between what yahoo and google report. Also remember that the backlinks don't need to be reported in google's webmaster tools to give link juice, google just needs to see them for them to count.
