Lawyers are definitely at risk. There are already too many lawyers now to absorb into the profession. Legal degrees are the new MBA.

Everyone imagines that lawyers do 90% of their work in court rooms. That's not true. 90% of our time is spent reading and writing... specifically, finding information. Entry level lawyers are literally just used to scan through documents finding info.. they are basically well paid librarians.

AI will eliminate a lot of that work. Imagine a google but for case law.... type in a keyword and all relevant laws and cases come up, with the relevant info already highlighted. What would have taken hours is done in 15 seconds.

Well considering ai and robot current level and growth, the first to get hit is waiter, cashier, chef, as ai and robot grew i dont think any job is safe, well except ai creator or programmer.

I don't actually think we will need to drive anywhere in future.
If you eliminate the need for us to travel then you eliminate the possibility for anyone to be injured or killed on the roads.
That would mean the only transport would be supplies. Driver-less containers operating outside of human contact or zones, could travel along roads with open electrical power rails like a tram or a subway car at high speeds.
So that leaves us without any human contact ?
Not really, if the neural shunt works as it is proposed, them we will simply be matrix-ed in the future.
Frightening concept ?
Not for me I'd embrace it.
I'm a pragmatist , I look at like this :
Cave painting -> paintings -> photos -> color photos -> film -> color film -> video tapes -> Mp4 -> Virtual reality -> A.I neural shunt full sensory experience -> an so on.
Ask yourself this : if your offered a couple of thousand years exploring the universe in a spaceship or death which would you choose?
