Professional opinions on Rhinorank?

Hi, I heard many good things about the Curated Links service of RhinoRank, but I tried to order one to check and it looks a bit weird/spammy to me (I'm not a pro, but it just looks a bit odd to me):
1. the article focused heavily on a specific city that is in a different state than my local business.
2. the article already had 5 more business sites (of the exact same niche) linked to.

So I would love to hear from real professionals what your opinions are on their link quality.

Having 6 different links in the same article may mean the site is accepting payment for adding your link to it.
Not the highest quality links as your competitors could do the same thing.
