how do you propose these transactions work??? the ebay seller sells the items and collects the money in their paypal account. they then pay you the money, minus their percentage fee. you then send the item?
this opens the seller to all the risk for ebay and paypal claims. If anything fails along the road, you walk and the seller gets caught with all the fees.
in general, a lot of people try this as a scam. i am NOT saying YOU are trying a scam. i am only saying that even when this isnt a scam, there is a great deal of risk for the seller.
TO POTENTIAL SELLERS - I suggest you make sure to have safeguards in place and make sure to ask all the right questions before selling someone elses products. otherwise, you could end up with something similar to a story i recently read.
12 different ebay sellers were selling a 30.00 product for 2 weeks for a third party. They then gave the 'alleged' third party product owner 25.00 for each sale. They were happy thinking they had made a 5.00 profit on every sell. Then they all started getting complaints because the products were not being delivered. all the buyers filed claims against them. So in instead of making 5.00 per product. They ended up having to refund 30.00 for each sell. Only they couldnt get their 25.00 back from the third party. So all thier refunds came out of their own pocket. and many of them lost their ebay and paypal accounts.
Just beware.....
