I opened this topic, so we can list all products that are easy to be sold on ebay. Usually for 1-3 with free shipping , just so we can rise our sales volume.
Till now we have: free ebooks , coupons, silicone bracelets and samples coffee/tea.

What's the point of selling those? Increase feedback? don't tell me its to make money cos you cannot make big bucks selling silicone bracelets and free ebooks ('free'? wtf?? )

i think he is looking at stuff that buys for like under 5c then sells for like $1...

You can make some good money if you ca sell 100+ of these a day, but at that point it gets to be a head ache.

He has no point. He is still learning, i guess. Give him a break.

Best way to sell stuff if you are new to the game is selling things you find around the house. Look in the garage. Go to yard sales.
Sell used stuff. Use very good pics, make a decent listing.Spend some time on everything. Ain't gonna be worth the time spend but that's how you start.
Slow and nice. Patient is the key to ebay biz. Nothing happens overnight anymore, at least not with the "normal" approach.

With time your feedbacks will come in, your limits be raised. Use the spare time you got to find good whole salers. Try to avoid drop shipping ( but that's really up to you and a very personal opinion of mine ) and start buying small stock when you can afford to.

And another million things you need to learn and read up on.

The point is to create feedback and also increase your "selling power" by making volumes. Also, not everybody is from USA,etc...and i saw many european/chinese guys making 2000-3000$/month by selling cheap stuff. (usually under 5$), even like socks, bikini, etc. Cheap to get from a Chinese magazine, easy to sell. I won't try to sell socks/bikini because of the low quality.

I am from Romania. A normal girl earn here 200-300$/month ... so ... even 100$ extra per month it's "nice money here" , lol But yeah, i will go for big stuff, but i am seller for only 1 month now.

Selling those low value items is worth only for feedback in my opinion.Build some feedback and selling track record then sell some more profitable and valued items.

I tried to sell some DDR3 for laptop, SD cards... but I can only find them locally at the same price is on ebay. I think i need to add 20% more to cover all fees. (postal, ebay, paypal). right?

If you are an international trader, the answer is easy:

Something that's cheap were you live but expensive elsewhere for example:

Olive oil costs nothing in the Mediterannean (Greece, Spain, Italy, Libya, Turkey) but it's a luxury good in North Europe and the US
IT goods are cheaper in Asia
Clothes and Jewellery are cheap in India

etc etc

It's a matter of findind a good wholesaler

My only big success with Ebay was selling toner for Photocopiers, I found a guy that sold genuine toner at about half retail price, so I sold them in the at ebay.co.UK.

Also one problem I have... I live in Romania. So ... sending a normal envelope = 0.5$ ... sending a package 10$-20$ ......

Used videogames, movies, music etc. These things always sell good. Usually you can find them cheaper in countries like UK or US and sell them for higher price in your country. You said you live in Romania so my gues is these things aren't very cheap out there.

Ever tried to sell my brand new macbook but no succes xD, guess tiny things will sell quick like sunglasses dvd's and games!
