I do it the old fashioned way and work from a to-do list
I write new list every evening, with everything I MUST accomplish the next day. I print it off and put it on my keyboard. I use the Outlook task list to draught it and that way I can set alarms for anything that's time-specific.
My mission is to finish everything on the list as soon as I can - if I finish earlier than anticipated I can then get on with less critical, more creative and more enjoyable tasks.
When I write my list, I also do any research I need and bookmark any pages I will need for the next day. I save those bookmarks in a folder and then when I fire up my machines in the morning I open all tabs in the folder and I'm good to go.
I'm also militant about having a tidy desk and only have a pad, pen, highlighter pen and any paperwork I need for the day - for some reason I feel more efficient and am more productive that way.
