I know a lot of people have a difficult time staying on task and not getting wisked away into the wonders of the internet.
I don't know how many times I've said to myself "Today Im going to spend X hours on IM". Then I end up lost in youtube or something coming out periodically to write an article, upload some files, or whatever else.
If you want to be more productive and gage how much time you actually spend working it can be interesting to use a stop watch.
A stopwatch can also act as a motivator. Every time you go to stop it you'll realize your stepping away from your goals.
If you dont have one, there are plenty online you can use.
Hope that helps some folks.
