Product Pages Not Ranking (Ecom)

Hey guys

I have a product page in my store that I have been trying to rank for.

When doing a competitor analysis, 7 out of the 10 results are blogpost about the 'Best of xxx' and 3 are authoritative Ecom store home page.

I understand that matching search intent is crucial when it comes to ranking in the top positions.

I've considered writing about a post about the 'Best of' but that would also mean writing about the products that my competitors are selling.

I've also tried adding as much content as possible in my product pages but i can't beat the word count and KW density of a blog post.

Any ideas as to how I can go about ranking my product pages?

When did you publish the page?

Are you aware that there was an Google algorithm update targeted specifically on product reviews?

That may be the reason why.

Check your backlink profile. You could have a bad backlink thats causing the site not to rank because it has a penality on it. It wont show up in GSC has as manaul or automatic penality. But it will still be holding your page down. Get your currently backlinks analysed.
