Product name in domain

Hi BHW,

I have found a good keyword with a product that can bring me some decent cash in the future. The problem is the domain name. I can use the product as a domain name, but having the risk that I have to give up the site to the company that copyrighted their brand name.

What is the best way to solve this?
I could ofcourse use the niche as a domain name, but this takes the advantage of having the keyword in my domain away.

Does anyone have any experience and tips for me? Thanks.

In my opinion it is better not to do it, if you do start making good cash from it there is a high chance the company will come after you.

using a copyrighted or TM'ed name as your domain is just a bad idea, especially when that domain starts outranking the company's site for their product. any domain name that could confuse their customers will almost certainly get you sued. try creating a website like [productname]review or something where the distinction is clear that you're not affiliated with the company, and you should be fine.
