Hey there,
I was thinking about starting some journey w shopify about dropshipping or maybe print on demand. What i am interested is there anyone actually here who is processing with any of these 2 processors (which are basicly same), are there any holds with bigger amounts and such. I have had some problems in past with stealths after 2 orders they required ID and i didn't process over $100 which i think i done something wrong

I have not used Stripe, however, Shopify works great. I have used Shopify, but my own sites do not do large volumes, unfortunately. I know of one Shopify account that sells items for no less than $5,000 each on Shopify. I have communicated with the owner of that site, and was told there were no hold-ups. Their primary concern was fraud from their customers, to which they implemented several layers of security for their own protection. Back to me, I live in the U.S., and there are rules regarding "large" deposits, or deposits over $10,000 into banks. However, if you have a regular pattern of moving "large" amounts around, the banks tend to see this as normal, and holds seem to not be as big of an issue. For example, if you normally deposit $30,000 into your bank a week, then the first couple times may be painful, but eventually they will go smoothly. Until you randomly deposit $50,000, at which point there may be a hold on your deposit. Something else to consider here is if these amounts are not normal for whoever is writing the checks, there may be holds from that side as well. My recommendation is to go ahead with Shopify (perhaps by itself initially) to get the income flowing, and to work with your bank, in person, on the regular. (If you are outside the U.S., I am not familiar with how your banks may or may not operate.)
