Problems with proxy!

Hello,

I've tried 2 VPS providers and both are unable to connect to the proxies.
The proxys are from high quality and works perfectly from my home device, also from pings around the world.

But it seems always to timeout when i try to use it on VPS.
What am i doing wrong? Or how can it be solved?

What kind of authentication those proxies use? If it's ip address auth, you need to authenticate the ip address of the VPS with them and not your home connection. This can be one issue i can think of.

It requires IP authentication or user/pass.
I've tried on both VPS providers the(Their IP's) IP authentication, nonetheless with no difference.

They cannot even ping it. While servers from several countries of the world are able to ping it according to proxy provider.
 
ok thats correct .. so if u have this ip whitelisted . it should works .. maybe check your portnumbers also
 
Did you fix your control panel to allow proxy access from the VPS? Many proxy providers restrict the IPs that can connect to the proxies at any given time. It's possible you did not add the VPSes to the whitelist, especially if they have dual IPs.

How do i do that? I see no option for that so far.. and how can i see the secondary IP? Maybe it works if i put both IP's in the verification?
And i've contacted the proxy provider through ticket, all they say is that there are connectivity issues from their side(VPS).
But which issue i don't know, as i have no information what the possible problems could be, or how they setup their proxies.

What exactly do i need to check?
My bot works fine with the proxy settings on my bot at local device.
But when i take the program and all the same settings to the VPS it cannot reach the proxy anymore..

every connection try ends as timeout
 
try to open a website with your proxies .. if the proxies works with your browser so there is a problem with your botsettings
 
Why don't you describe exactly what type of proxy you purchased and whom from and whether it's socks or http. You shouldn't necessarily be able to ping proxies because they just move TCP data across a couple of ports only and don't engage in any other protocols such as ICMP.
