Hi
We’re wondering if anyone has experience with having a non-EU Stripe account, charging recurring payments to customers within the EU. We have a lot of problems with error codes such as “do_not_honour”, “transaction_not_allowed”, etc. however the weird thing is, if we create a new Stripe account, we can run the account for a while without issues, but then out of nowhere, we start getting the error codes (doesn’t matter if it’s a new subscriber or old subscriber). We don’t have too many disputes, maybe 1/100 or 2/100 at most.
We’ve experimented a lot with this, sometimes it seems as if we just change that statement descriptor, we can charge people again for a short while.
Anyone have any clues on how we can set up a more successful and stable Stripe account?
